02/06/2011 Gaskets contract for the Tel-Aviv – Jerusalem 28 Km train tunnels awarded to Ein Shemer Rubber Industries
The Tel-Aviv – Jerusalem high speed train tunnel project will be built by two joint venture contractors: one by Pizzarotti (Italy) – Shapir (Israel) J.V. and the other is Mos Metrostroy (Russia) – Minrav (Israel) J.V. The length of the twin tunnels is 14 Km requiring approximately 28 Km of segmental liners equipped with ES Rubber gaskets surrounding all concrete segments.

Ein Shemer Rubber Industries and De Neef Conchem Group have signed a Joint Venture of mutual representation for the following products: Tunnelflex EPDM gaskets from Ein Shemer and Swellseal hydrophilic waterproofing strips from De Neef Conchem

The rubber profile range is extensive and provides answers to customer requirements.

The hose department produces superior quality hose products for local and world markets.

Tyre retreading materials include over 40 different designs of "Ultratread" precure treads for both truck and passenger lines.

The department develops and produces unique rubber parts, by pressing and injecting methods.
